Eligibility & Safety

Who is Dr. Refills for? +

Who reviews my request? +
Every request is reviewed by Iwan S. Nyotowidjojo, MD — a board-certified Internal Medicine physician licensed by the California Medical Board. Dr. Nyotowidjojo reviews your intake information, clinical flags, and medication history before approving any prescription.
Is my information secure? +
Yes. Dr. Refills uses HIPAA-compliant systems for all patient data — including encrypted storage, secure communications, and access controls. Your medical information is never sold or shared with third parties.
Is this a replacement for my regular doctor? +
No. Dr. Refills is a bridge service for patients who need a refill but cannot access their regular physician. We strongly encourage patients to establish ongoing care with a primary care physician. We can help you apply for Medi-Cal or find a local clinic if needed.
